Jorge Riquelme, Executive Director Jorge Riquelme has been the Executive Director of Bayside since 2007. Prior to taking over as Executive Director, Jorge was an Assistant Professor at San Diego State, San Marcos. Although he enjoyed his work as an educator and researcher in a public institution of higher learning, he was drawn more strongly to the advocacy work outside the classroom. When the opportunity came up at Bayside, he knew it was the perfect place to merge his love of education and advocacy for social justice. During his free time, he enjoys watching sports, spending time with his family and being active in the community.

Rose Ceballos, Deputy Director Rose is our Deputy Director and oversees the day-to-day operations at Bayside including supervising the senior program, as well as many of our other programs. She is also our liaison with the county and other government offices. Bayside is especially near and dear to her heart, because her family frequented Bayside when she was a child, so she knew first hand the vital role Bayside plays in our community. She began working at Bayside in 1976, and has continued to grow and develop with Bayside. During her free time, she enjoys reading, going to Chargers games and spending time with her children and grandbabies.

She began working at Bayside in 2009 as a volunteer and then worked as the Human Resource Coordinator on a part-time basis.
