Bayside provides a number of programs and services for the residents of Linda Vista and the surrounding communities. Heavy emphasis is placed on helping young people and the elderly.
An after-school program offers homework assistance, reading, field trips, computer games and other activities, all under the auspices of a state-certified teacher and volunteers from the University of San Diego.
Seniors benefit from Bayside activities and services such as daily lunches, exercise classes, counseling, assistance with grocery shopping, and escort services to their doctor or hospital.
Bayside staff assists neighbors seeking assistance and provides translation, referrals, interpretation, forms completion, money management and advocacy.
