Senior STEPS (Safety Through Education and Preventive Services)
The Senior STEPS program is a free service designed to helps keep older adults living independently and safe in their homes. STEPS provides in-home safety evaluations, healthy lifestyle education, links to resources, wellness health practices, blood pressure checks, and medication reviews to seniors (60+). We also offer referrals to programs to ease isolation and enhance wellness. Program offerings include, congregrate lunches, field trips, feeling fit exercise classes, and other activities. STEPS includes access to the Vial of Life Project, designed to speak for you when you can't speak for yourself. The vial contains important medical information that can assist emergency personnel in administering the proper medical treatment.
