San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG)

The San Diego Association of Governments' (SANDAG) goal is to make transportation more convenient, reliable, equitable, healthy, and safe for everyone. This means planning ways to help people get around in the next several years, while also preparing for bigger longer-term transportation solutions in the future. Throughout 2023 and 2024, SANDAG gathered public input from thousands of people across the region about their transportation needs. This input, along with feedback from our Board of Directors, partner agencies, policy advisory committees, and community partners will help to shape the projects, programs, and policies they are proposing for the 2025 Regional Plan.
Here you'll find the draft proposed 2025 Regional Plan Transportation Network: this includes all of the improvements they are proposing (at a high level) and also summarizes the feedback they received last year and how it has influenced the draft network. (Lea este documento en español).

Bayside Community Center is a proud partner of the San Diego Association of Governments and a sitting member of SANDAG's Social Equity Working Group.

All riders 18 and under are able to ride MTS and North County Transit District services for FREE with a Youth PRONTO app account, or a Youth PRONTO card. Visit www.sdmts.com/youth-opportunity-pass for more details.

Regional Plan 2025: Environmental Impact Report

SANDAG has been working on a plan to make transportation more convenient, equitable, healthy, and safe for everyone in our region. Before they finalize this plan, they drafted a report analyzing how these proposed improvements to our transportation network could impact people, wildlife, and the natural environment.

Now through October 13, you can read this Draft Environmental Impact Report and send a written comment about what you believe should be done to reduce or avoid impacts to our region’s resources as we make our transportation system better: these include things like air quality, housing, water, and land.
