This Earth Month, our community put their hopes for nature into words – one leaf at a time.
As part of Bayside’s Environmental Learning Center (BELC), we invited community members to write their hopes on paper leaves – simple intentions for how they want to connect more deeply with nature.
With the generous support of people like you, we raised $4,878.86, which will be invested directly into Bayside’s Environmental Learning Center! This program provides rental plots for low-income community members, garden therapy for youth, and Monday evening social garden gatherings for seniors.
We really appreciate your ongoing investment in the Linda Vista community. Keep an eye out for some upcoming happenings in the gardens this year, including a Flower Power Workshop (RSVP here) and a Linda Vista Garden Crawl inspired by Mary, a local Linda Vista gardener and Bayside volunteer.
From all of us at Bayside, thank you!!
